Heya Pegazus - glad you checked it out!
Well, I would absolutely love to make it a regular thing. But first we need to see how the program functions - it should do pretty well - the premise and technology isn't anything new. Friends and I were using Skype to coordinate members for the game Tribal Wars and Team Speak or Ventrillo when I played Age of Conan.
I understand the 10 person limit - getting too many would be an absolute nightmare but I also everyone to join if they are interested. If Team Speak is still free and unlimited (it's been years) that may work better. Not sure but that's something that needs to be checked.
So I would absolutely LOVE to have a regular meeting for painting but there's a few things we need to test out first.
I think it would be perfect for me because most of us already know each other - although it is a public invite so we might get the curious popping in. Most of us are adults or at the very least mature. Going into a gaming store - of course we've got the young kids. Most of 'em are fantastic but many times there's the punk that drives you insane.

I know starting a painting group here I won't be finding anyone my age interested. So I'd end up herding kids one way or another.

A worthwhile project on its own - but I also need to be able to paint and finish stuff. Then last but not least - no hauling my stuff back and forth! I'm one of those who has to take the kitchen sink. Fortunately I'm a first rate packer and can load my Honda six ways to Sunday very efficiently. lol! But damn that's a lot of work!
Gee the more I think about it the better this online thing is looking. lol!
When I went to ReaperCon, my friend Derek is from CO. and he goes to the painting group in Denver I believe. Jennifer Kaufman is one member and there are quite a few top freelance painters who take part. I was jealous hearing about it. Somehow they got a cluster of pro mini painters who focus on Reaper stuff in Denver. I tried to talk them into moving to Southeast Texas. For some reason they weren't too wild about the idea.

But with gas doing this crazy up down thing and the family...extra drive time just adds more stress sometimes.
Anyway, let's see how it goes and if it works and we get enough interested people, I wouldn't mind making it a regular thing.
