Anyone play this game?

Hi everyone - this post is mainly for parents who have elem./middle school-aged kids at home. I\'ve seen a board/boxed game, Fist of Dragonstones, by Days of Wonder at our LGS and I\'ve wondered if it\'s any good.

Has anyone heard of this game, or better yet, played it (with or without kids)?

Hrmm...sounds kinda familiar. I\'ll ask my gaming group tonight if anyone has heard of it. One of the folks in my group is a boardgame fiend, and he\'s been doing organized play events and random stuff for game companies for a while. He may have an idea if he\'s played or heard of the game.

I have no idea why it sounds really familiar. Maybe we carried it at one time at the Game Center. hrmmm...now that\'s going to bug me for the rest of the day.

I haven\'t played that game, and I\'m not sure we carry it at the LGS where I work. However, I can recommend the invaluable resource of Board Game Geek. It\'ll have reviews, records of play sessions, rules discussions, house rules and so on for this and just about any other board or card game. There are also a lot of lists that members compile that can sometimes help you figure out if I like this than I might like that and such.

Talked to my friend. He said that he hasn\'y played it, but he thinks that it can be played online, if you want to check it out. From his description, it sounds like a bidding-type game.

Haven\'t played that...

but I have played this with my 16, 14, and 7 yr olds -

We gretly enjoyed it and bought the first expansion. I\'m waiting for this to come in -

I\'m hoping to get the wife to play it, its a whodunnit type game like clue, but you actually get to build the house as you go, and it comes with MINI\'S! It sounds cool and maybe (just maybe) I can get the wife to share some of my interests.

@Markus - I hope to heck you get that game in. It\'s a shame it comes with minis. You need something to do with all those minis you showed us in the \"Workspace\" thread!! lol
