yup agreed. by far the best part of the day. thing is all the painters head there so it's not worth hanging around the cabinets. make friends and you'll be able to see the minis as they pack them away then!

it's the only hotel within 5 mins. about halfway along the nec, on the lake. can't miss it. dr is right, it aint cheap but you'd be surprised how you can make a coke last all avo! plus the prices at the nec are about the same but the queues are MUCH bigger

Hmm, may have to locate said bar with my brother, though fear that the prices they're charging I may be asking for a third of a pint :s

Keeping fingers crossed that this year they may actually do something and put in place a queueing system for ForgeWorld like the Black Library does. However I think this is highly unlikely

there's usually a massive amount of painters in the little owl nearby. last year dan abnett and bill king were there too. if there is a large noisy group in the back left , it's prolly the pb guys, so stop over and say hi
