I have tried repeatedly to buy Hudson and Allen Forest litter from every site I can find. Is there any where in the US I can buy this that actually keeps some in stock? I\'m sick of being told I\'m on backorder for 8 weeks. Someone help.

Go to Fantixation.com and look for the stuff by darkson designs called Autum ground cover or something like that. Its the same stuff. Its actually from birch tree sead pods. Oh and its in stock and cheaper.

I\'ll second that top notch service ...
As for Birch seeds pop to a local bit of wood and you\'ll find em..
Dry em slowly in a very low oven and there you have it.

Works great if you live where there are Birch trees.. not many around here.. primarily Oaks, Maples and Ash.. But for the $5.00 Ill spend on a lifetimes supply that someone else has done all the work not alone Ill use that much in natural gas to dry them and all takes.. $5.00 is a very cheap investment in my opinion.

Antenociti\'s Workshop sells a nice assortment of colors. I also beleave Mick from the UK also sells them in his eBay store in different colors.

I\'ve just ordered some myself. Ordered previously from Antenociti, shipping to the States was horrendous (not his fault, and awesome service!)

However, I did find a supplier in NY... Military Miniatures Warehouse. The actual seed pods come from another company in Italy, but as you can see clicking here, the forest debris is actually just the little seed pods. I\'ve been using the natural colored ones as ivy and painting them once they\'re in place. Really is a nice touch, and looks gorgeous.

I have no idea what MilMinWh\'s service is like. I\'ll let you know. They take paypal and credit cards and do have their home address on the site, so I don\'t think they\'ll take the money and run (aside from the fact they do supply to hobby stores as well).

If they can get it to me as fast or faster than Antenociti can get it to me from England, then they\'ll be a new supplier for me.

Those little buggers are horrible to find, though.

Thanks all for your help. I was going to purchase from the Atenocities website, but the shipping put me off. I will try one of these other solutions. Thanks again.

You can also go to ebay and look up birch tree seeds and get some forest litter that way. I got 100 seeds for under 5 bucks and that was shipping as well. Not the greatest deal but better then paying a fortune for international shipping.

Military Miniatures Warehouse came through for me today. Quick shipping, great customer service...

Except you get a thimblefull of leaves. I think I\'ll be better off going through Antenociti in the future... Antenociti sells bigger bags, maybe costing twice as much... but you get a LOT more than 2x the amount of birch pods!
