Anyone using this stuff for modeling?

It seems like its decentlycheap, available at more stores, and is able to be sanded. mayhaps??

is that the blue/white mix that makes white stuff?

If so, it is a bit grainy and not reall strong. Suitable for basing, but I wouldn\'t sculpt a mini for casting from it.

Alright, I know nothing about the stuff, yet; I\'m fascinated. Anyone know why is it called \'aquarium\' epoxy? And before I fall, laughing, off my perch, let no-one say it\'s because it\'s actually used in aquaria...

I believe its non-toxic (or at least doesn\'t come apart under water or change water parameters), and it \"works\" under water. ie. You can stick it on a rock, and toss it uner water and it\'ll cure.

Yeah, that much should be true for most epoxies. Indeed, I tried to use various epoxy compounds with marine aquaria, until I found that the salt water destroys all of them over 2 or 3 months. Other people have said the same of freshwater aquaria.

But hey, if the stuff has purpose for minis, yet not aquaria, who here gives a damn? Thanks for the clarification, J2FcM. :)
