Arcane Miniatures

I placed an order to Arcane Miniatures via Paypal. The amount was deducted immediately from my Paypal account. After a week, I have not received an order confirmation. Attempts to contact Arcane have been fruitless as they do not respond to emails or phone calls.

I disovered that if you type Arcane Miniatures into Google you get offered \'Arcane Miniature Problems\' as the second line so it seems my experience is not abnormal.

I have opened a Paypal dispute. Anyone else ordered from this vendor recently?

Sadly, they\'re known to be extremely unreliable and erratic. I swore off ordering from Arcane a few years ago because of problems I had, and I have no intention of going back there. Plenty of other vendors in the sea. *shrug*

I must just add the other side of the fence. I have dealt with Russ for around 5 years now, and admittedly sometimes the delivery is slow, but it is free so I can stomach this.

I got something to say about arcane miniatures and it\'s not something for children to read.

Well perhaps I put my wrath aside and just say that AM really sucks. Couple of years ago they had this painting competition and I came second. I wasn\'t sure how to get my free minis etc. so I sent couple of email and even today I haven\'t got any answers nor my prize.

I mean, where the f*ck are my minis!!:cussing::cussing:

Never trust that store.

I have never had a problem with AM Russ has always delivered my orders quickly and without fuss, I know alot of people have had trouble with them but I am not one of them.

I placed an order with them over the weekend, paid through paypal and am waiting on the miniatures. I cant say much in the way of help at the moment but fingers crossed they arrive asap as the two models I have ordered are Xmas presents and need to be painted in time too.

I think 18days is a long time for anything within the UK imo, 3 days to process the transaction and even at second class delivery a few days tops, I have had stuff to and from the US quicker :p

will keep people posted on my arcane experience

I ordered some stuff and it came fine, sure it took about a week, but the guy has mad reductions and the postage is free..

I ordered a few things, got free post and they came within about just over a week all fine. Maybe it\'s a hit and miss thing.

I have had an email from Arcane to apologise and to say that my miniatures have been posted and should be with me soon. Apparently he has had ISP problems.

It looks like Arcane are having problems with their Postal Service as well as their ISP. Their email said that they had posted the package on the 9th. It is now the 17th and it has not arrived.

Remember the uk postal service isn\'t working that great at the moment, I posted something first class and it took five days to get from nottingham to leeds.

True enough. At the moment I am giving Arcane the benefit of the doubt. Post in Kent is flowing normally but may not be at their end.

I still havent word back from Arcane, its been about 6 days since i placed my order and have emailed him once.

Fingers crossed they will hurry as they are Christmas presents

My miniatures have not turned up and Arcane are not answering their email again. The postal strike starts on Thursday so I guess that will be that. Paypal will start their arbitration process in three days.

I have emailed arcane for the second time this morning.

Its been 10days and i havent had a single word from them, the only thing I have had is the payment email from paypal.

In my email I strongly expressed my annoyance at such bad customer service and told them this will be the first (if they actually fulfill my order) and last time i will be using their service (if you can call it that)

To put it blunt they are quite the sack of shit in my honest opinion

I got an email from Arcane yesterday saying that they had emailed me earlier with the approximated dispatch date. Fingers crossed the items (that should be dispatched today) wont take too long to arrive

My miniatures arrived this morning in the last post before the strike and 24 hours before Paypal were due to refund my money.

So Arcane got there in the end, albeit after a fortnight or so.

The problem here is their complete lack of communication with their customers. If they had emailed me promptly to say there would be a delay and then kept me informed about when they could fill the order I would have been entirely happy. After all, there was no rush - it\'s only toy soldiers - but they just ignore the customer.

It does not make me want to use them again when there are other vendors who want my business.

Lucky you...

I\'ve ordered stuff last month and I\'m still waiting for it... (Ok I live in Holland, but still tis just a little pond.)
Previous mail I sent was responded to rather quickly an said that my order had been send, though that wa the 1st of october...
Mailed again today, hope it\'ll solve something, if not how do I get paypal to refund my money? Still fairly new to the whole paypal thing and all...

Thanks in advance :)
