Hi:)

It\'s commision work. archaon painted in light colors for my friend he ask me to paint it in this way to match it to his tzentch army. I use here metalics becouse whole army is in metalics.

Photos working for me, but the link to vote isn\'t. Found it here though, and voted.. hope my link works for others!

Lack of detail on the horse lets it down for me, but the rest of it, in particular the freehand on the robes leaves me in awe!

how did you do those light effects on the base?
I would say that you could get smoother light effects by using glazes. by adding a brightness in the glaze as you are working in to the source. and remember that a light effects is never brighter or as bright as the source. so I would say that you repaint the stones.
I also think that you should do some light effects on the cloak from the sword.
do the light effects with glazes, and a bit darker.

then it would be ace! :D

Good job on Archaon though I\'d shade the horse down a little more. Doesn\'t look contrasted enough!

i can see it now. nice job. i agree that the horse need more contrast (specifically shading) to give it more oomf

I paint my thumb.
I like the freehand on the cloak, It\'s tasteful and well executed.
I\'d give an 8 if the horse was as good as the rider.
