A lot of movement here in just a few days!! ;)

Dragonsreach was super kind with that parcel for you, to try different sculpting than GW. There is definitely a world of work other than GW's!!

I did not found that article that BAM is pointing you at. Could you link it over here or pm me, please? (when you came back from that visit of course)

Dozer and Smigg

I've started on Dozer and Smigg - this really is a great model with so much character!


I decided to try out starting with an undercoat on their skin. These pics are with two thin layers of the main skin colour laid on over that. Obviously there's tons more work that needs doing, but I figured I'd show you where I'd gotten to so far.

Let me know what you think and/or what you're working on at the moment. :)

*tips hat to WGS* Knowing me, it may change entirely - but it is pretty much what I had in mind. So I may surprise both of us yet... :)

Is it a lil washed out from either the photo flash or the overhead lamp ide get a better idea of it with a more diffused light source maybe in a room with a cieling fan and no light flash on the camera.i can def see it's neat and tidy but to see it fairly it's hard to make out the hardworking of a pale skin tone in a washed out setting.this also could be my computer .

@BAM - The pictures aren't the best quality. I'll try to make a plan after today's session, but they give a general idea.

Cool stuff! I'll definetly be doing Goreshade at some point - are you painting really soon, or are you up for a paint-a-long?

@oistene - I brought him along as a possible option for *if* I finish Dozer and Smigg before we head home. So I'm happy to delay him until you're ready. Just send me a PM when you're good to go and we'll make a plan.

I just need to buy one! :D Was thinking that I wanted a Goreshade, but was undecided on which one of the three versions I wanted.
