*peeks out from her ninja-space* Hello my lovely friends!

Haven't had much hobby motivation going on at the moment. And so not sure what to start with. Or continue with. Any thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Why don't you guys start me off with telling me what you're working on at the moment.

It's my CMON 1 year anniversary next week so I should do something to celebrate that....

P.S. In other news my man and I have bought a house! :D Once all of the transfers etc are through we'll be moving and we may have a craft/hobby room!!

Congratulations on the house, and happy anniversary for next week in case I forget to post it next week.
I'm currently working on my first full game release, while still keeping up with commissions and the normal monthly releases, so not much really ! LOL

Happy first cmon anniversary :)

To answer your question, I've been prepping my model for the hero/villain challenge next week, but now it's hard to resist the urge to paint it before then lol, oh and congrats on the new house, if your husband objects to a hobby room I suggest using your ninja skills to set one up while hes out :p

Mojo seems a common problem with this hobby, all of us suffer from time to time. People fall into three categories:
1, a 6 month fad , spending lots of money, getting frustrated with their results and moving on.

2, a 4 year stayer, who drifts away then comes back in various stages in their life.

3, a lifer who loses mojo for a month or so then is back with a passion and love for the hobby that never leaves.

Happy happy first year anniversary!!
Looking forward your move to a new place with a special room for your hobbies!!! those are great news... I am wishing you both a smooth and unproblematic move!
I've been reading and following everyone here as much as I could, my pc crashed last week, and my painting mojo is a bit dry atm. xD

"Pro" Tip: Label all your boxes with a summary of contents and the room they are supposed to go, you will do things faster this way. It is also a good moment to sell/donate things before having to carry them all over the place. ;)

Yep,congratulations on the anniversary, and on the new house!!

Maybe planning and setting up a cozy hobby spot in the new house will be exactly what you need to get your mojo working again. It's definitely nice to have a work where everything is just the way you like it, and you can leave your paints and minis out.

One Year Anniversary

You guys are absolute sweetie-pies! :in-love:

I would like to take a quick moment to thank all of you who have taken the time over the past year to welcome this strange little South African paintress into this amazing hobby. You've freely given of your experience, knowledge, time and friendship to help me out. Thank you. A thousand times, thank you.

I've learned so much from being here this past year. And though my road has curved and taken more than a few interesting detours I feel that I am a better miniature painter than I was when I started. And hopefully I'll be able to carry on on my own erratic little path with you all as coaches, cheerleaders and friends along the way.

It doesn't feel like enough, but these two little words are all I have: Thank You!

Congratulations on the new house. Must be an amazing feeling. As for what I have been up too...I have been slacking just as much as you. :p
