Are rank-based effects of abilities determined on trigger or effect?

For example:
House Bolton Bastard's Girls make a ranged attack with Tracker's Bow targeting Lannister Guardsmen. Following the attack, the Guardsmen remain with 5 wounds (2 ranks). The Active player triggers Charging Volley, and the inactive player triggers Lannister Supremacy.
The active player resolves the charge action using the Bastard's Girls and destroys the Guardsmen.
To my understanding, the rules state that the panic test caused by Lannister Supremacy will still occur even though the unit was destroyed. If this is true, would the panic test be performed at "-2 to their roll and +2 wounds on failure" as the Guardsmen were at 2 ranks upon trigger, or would the test be performed with no penalty as the Guardsmen have 0 ranks at the time that the effect of the ability occurs?

Thank you in advance

The Lannister supremacy reads
"After an ennemy completes an Attack on this unit :
Target the Attcker. They suffer 1 Panic Test with -1 to their roll and +1 Wounds on failure for each remaining rank in the unit"

Since the trigger is after an ennemy completes an attack on this unit you can use the order only once the attack is finished. At that moment, your unit has been destroyed and so there's no order left.
So nothing happens.

I appreciate the input but in this scenario there are two attack actions being performed. At the completion of the first attack, the guardsmen are remaining on 5 wounds and are able to trigger Lannister Supremacy. It is my understanding that the Guardsmen need only be alive for the effect to trigger; and if the unit dies as a result of the Charging Volley order of the Bastard's Girls, the effect of Lannister Supremacy would still occur (Please correct me if I'm wrong).
If the panic test does occur, would the penalties be determined at the time of trigger (2 ranks left at the time) or at the time of effect (0 ranks left at the time).

Also, if I'm wrong and the panic test would not occur at all, what would happen if the Charging Volley attack reduced the Guardsmen to 1 rank? Would the panic test previously triggered be at -2/+2 or -1/+1?

Thank you for your time

OK I missed the simultaneous part of your question sorry :D Here is how it would resolve (assuming the bastard's girls' player is first player)
1/Bastard's girls perfom a ranged-attack
2/Once the attack is complete, Bastard's girls' unit player declare charing volley
3/Lannister supremacy sharing the same trigger (even if the Lannister supremacy is wider), Lannister player declares Lannister Supremacy
4/Charging volley resolves and they perform a Charge Action, including the eventual Melee attack in caseof a successful charge
5/Lannister Supremacy is resolved according to the actual situation. If the unit has been destroyed the Bastard's girls would still suffered a Panic Test with -0 to the diffculty/-0 Wounds on failure (for a destroyed uint means 0 remaining ranks left)

Any and all effects are only calculated when they resolves. There is no case where something will trigger and "lock" anything prior to resolving.

In this specific case the Attack will be resolved and we assume Lannister Supremacy is used, as is Charging Volley. Since this is a case of Simultaneous Triggers the active player (usually the Bastard's Girls) will resolve their effect first, which is a Charge Action in this case. Once, and only once, that Order has been resolved entirely will Lannister Supremacy then resolve. Note this is a corner case, and what can be said to be a "strange" interaction, in that there is a potential that the Guards are destroyed by the Charge Attack. In this case however the Order was still triggered and must resolve, resulting in a Panic Test at -0/+0, despite the unit being destroyed.

This specific interaction appears to be the only circumstance in which this can potentially happen, however.
