A wider variety of cards for each age would be the thing I'd like to see.
Right now even though not all of the cards are used every age about 90% of them are used. What this does is create a situation where players who have played the game several times know what potential cards there are out there which could be used against them each age. This adds a layer of strategy based on a memorized knowledge of the possible cards that could be played, which I don't care for.
Now if the Age decks were expanded to the point where only 50% or less of the cards were used each age, then predicting the cards opposing players are holding becomes a crap shoot at best. With each card that you haven't seen only having a 50% chance of being in play in the game. This greatly reduces strategies based on card knowledge, which I think is a good thing.
