Army Builder or ........

Been looking for a program to set up armylists and the only one I can find is Army builder. Taking into account that I\'m slightly web-challenged there might still be others out there.
So I was wondering does anyone know this program or can you recomment others that might do the same little tricks?

I\'ve used army builder since it came out, and it a very good utility prog. My only gripe is that the license only gives you all the bells and whistles for a year. After that, you can still use the program legally, but the automatic updates and such are disabled until you re-license.

I have looked pretty hard, and I can\'t find anything online at all other than AB.

I like (and own) Army Builder. I use it for whfb and 40k, but for Warmachine/Hordes I prefer Armies of Immoren.

Yeah I\'m the same as Hako.

I use ArmyBuilder (2.2 still) for 40k, Fantasy, Urban War.

And Armies of Immoren for WM/Hordes. I have Armies of Immoren - it\'s nice and easy to use and just works. It\'s also free ^^;

On the Spanish GW site, you find a free army list generator for 40K, it\'s called Exercituum Generator, and obviously its in Spanish. Although if you\'ve got a codex in front of you it\'s pretty clear to see what\'s what.
Often wondered why they never expanded it to the international sites
?

GW\'s old Interactive Army List builder was pretty handy, drag and drop and hey presto.
I spent a lot of time detailing errors in the Sisters of Battle and Harlequins lists they put out and they actually took note and corrected them.

However, it\'s just like everything else they do however, unwilling to spend money on development or maintenance, so it fell by the wayside.

I\'ve looked at the Army Builder demo and it looks ok, but I\'ve started building an Access Database to do what I need. My boss is a real Whiz kid when it comes to Databases and can really make them \"SING\". So He\'s made a couple of tweeks.

Really? I have been considering making one in Access myself (I use Access a lot), but i just can\'t find the time. I would be interested to know what direction you took yours in.

Army Builder

Hi, My suggestion take the time and create one with excel over time you can add different details and you would only have to add the new ones as you add them to your collection.

I use AB ver. 3 and it\'s been very handy. Even after the license \"expired\" you can use it legally (as mentioned before). The only difference is that I have to manually down load the updates and install them myself (really easy), it won\'t do it semi-automatically (you had to click 3 or so buttons).

Actually, thanks for reminding me.. I haven\'t downloaded the new demons lists.

My only gripes are that there is no file for Infinity. AB does have a tool kit to make your own files (and you can post them for other peeps), I just am too impatient to read the instructions and figure it out. ; ) Maybe there is one now, since I haven\'t checked in a while. And second, it registers the installation to your IP address, so if you move you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to be able to get the updates again.
