Army painter products?

Well, I bought a can of the Strong Tone one (darker brown), and I\'m using it on my VC Ghouls, Skeletons and (soon to be done) Zombies. So far, I like the stuff. On the Skeletons, primed white, weapons and stuff got a base layer (foundation paints), then the whole mini gets the quickshade brushed on generously. Same for Ghouls, where you can add a certain hue by giving the skin a thin coat of another colour.
I find it works like a charm, and for a pure gaming army, it\'s a very very good time/result ratio. I like to add little things like gore and stuff afterward with the saved time :D I still paint the \"Elite\" troopers and the like normally, but for rank and file I really like it.
Ask away, if there\'s still things unclear, I\'m off before some of the hardcore painters burn me on a stake. ;)

Sound of sharpening wood. :D

It\'s not something I\'ve tried, or to be honest am interested in trying. BUT if you want a simple colour scheme such as Godlikebuthumble described doing fast its supposed to be very handy.
I\'ve heard it described (and seen it on here) as being little more than thinned Wood stain, so if that suites your need go for it and don\'t let us Anally Retentive Uber Detail, Freehand Obsessive, Non Metalic Metal Artistes spoil what is supposed to be your fun. lol

there is something impressive about a whole regiment of well painted minis. tbh sometimes using stuff like this is the only way to do it! as long as you don\'t just dip, and add some extras to pick out details, i think i would be ok

I do NOT in any way recommend the sprays especially the varnish (Matt). It dries in mid air and coats the model with a powdery coat. I\'ve had some Major issues with the primers, not enough binder so it produces an uneven coat and can in some cases be swept off with a brush.

They suck and they are not that cheap. POO!

I\'ve only used their matt varnish spray and i really like it, i think it\'s pretty much the same as the old GW matt varnish.
