Cool! Congrats, Natalya! I must admit I am still trying to acclimate myself to female painters. I know it sounds terribly mesogonistic (sp?!) but when I see girls at games day I automatically think \"girlfriend\" or \"wife\" not \"worldclass painting talent\" which you, Natalya, definitely are! I would love to see my wife take such an interest but she is content with drybrushing terrain and smashing Blood Bowl opponants with her Orcs (she never pays attention to the ball!). I am very thankful that she is interested at all though and encourages me and screams the very loudest when I go up for my Demons.
I saw Natalya there last weekend and I think its so cool that she won the Slayer, these models ROCK! I usually pass over the LOTR entries for the others, I am just not terribly interested in the game. After seeing this Fellowship, though...maybe a better look is in order in the future. Hope to see you at another GD, Natalya! My wife also says Congrats! I will refrain from saying the \"you go girl!\" that she said...aww crap I said it!

it will stop all those rumours about nmm only being good from one angle.

Yep. Fantastic stuff as always :wow: The NMM on Gandalf\'s sword is my favourite detail. I noticed, on the Gimli 360 view, that Gimli is done in metallics. You can see the reflections moving. Yet still, with NMM and metallics together, the squad looks awesome. Awe-inspiring work Natalya, congratulations!

Well, if you lok at the 360º view of gimli, he is undoubtedly done in metallics. You can see the reflections changing, if you look at his shoulderpad for instance.
However... if you look at the squad 360º, the reflection seems to change a bit on gandalf\'s sword... but that\'s some funny metallics if it is ??? However, if it\'s NMM it\'s unique as well. I\'ve never seen the two-tone effect before.
In that photo you can see that gimli looks kind of different from the others...Maybe you\'re right, I don\'t know. Natalya\'s metallics style is executed similarly to her NMM:
I certainly find it hard to tell on that one. Then, her new Chaos terminator guy is similarly intriguing (I think this one is metallics):
They\'re awesome anyway, but it is interesting to speculate :innocent: Maybe Natalya has come up with metals that are as smooth as her NMM :wow:
