Go to the front page, and there's a little tab on the bottom of it, click it and it'll bring up the sweepstakes entry form. Alternatively, you have Facebook you can hit http://www.facebook.com/coolminiornot and click on the "Share and Tell" icon on the menu on the left.

You know I would love to enter this, but the app you are using to publicize the drawing requires you to give them permission to access your data, personal information, profile information, and post to Facebook as you. Seems like entirely too much risk for the reward of a chance at a $300 model. I would be perfectly OK with filling out an entry form and sending it to CMON, but allowing an unknown 3rd party that much access to my personal data isn't worth it. I strongly urge anyone entering this sweepstakes to thoroughly research the app CMON is requiring you to use to enter.
Share and Tell is a service that we subscribe to. The app permissions are necessary to do 2 things:
1. Publicize the competition to your friends (hence Facebook and Twitter entries) by stating that you've entered into your various feeds (that's the point of hosting it on Twitter and Facebook).
2. Contacting winners.
This is no different to our Enigma sweepstakes that we ran earlier this year.

I totally agree I will never give my concent for the apps to use or modify my date let alone post in my name. Is there another way I can apply.

Share and tell link just takes me back to the facebook page, do you have a DIRECT LINK to the competition because none of the 'regular' options are working for me either in Firefox nor Chrome and no I don't have AddBlock installed.

While we try to be as inclusive as possible there are limits to what we can effectively do for a free give away. So far there are over a thousand entrants so that's a very encouraging sign that issues are not widespread. As for Facebook or Twitter requirement, as I said, those are the easy ways to enter. If for whatever reason you choose not to participate on Facebook or Twitter, the hard(er) way is to snail mail a postcard to Share and Tell (the address is in the terms and conditions). No, you can't email, fax, PM me, have me enter for you or otherwise enter in a different way, those are just the rules for this sweepstakes. Get a grip folks, we are giving a chance to win the dragon in exchange for you telling your friends / twitter followers you are entering the competition. If you feel that's a price that isn't worth paying, that's ok. You haven't lost anything by not entering, and we haven't gained anything either.
