Some photos of "work in progress" or examples of your technique would be very valuable and very appreciated. It's awfully hard to follow just your text description.

This would be very helpful with step-by-step illustrations. People would love to see how you make this type of cloak and how nice it can turn out when finished and painted.

agreed that photos would be good.
I never thought of oiling. Do you have to clean off the oil after it cures before gluing?

A lot of people won't be bothered to read this without pictures.

Also - your text needs spacing - at the moment it looks like one long paragraph.
