Good article. and syco, skaven were once part of the beastman army, they were once human too. Just not really crossed, more of mutated thanks to chaos energy.

I love the idea, but I've read somewhere that GW will "NEVER" release a Skaven army for 40K. "NEVER". It made me wonder why the rats never made it to space. Maybe the empire exterminated the whole lot of them? I think though, if one or two males and females escaped, they could start a whole new colony on another world by "stowing away" on a galactic ship just like rats stow away on modern ships. I like the idea of scavenging by finding used and damaging epuipment and living under ruins. Fits the Skaven well. Great, imaginative article and killer conversion.

i like alot such a good idea too:D, to you DarkStar, this is/isnt true they do exist only in fluff, they are the Hrudd, there is a picture in the 40k rule book. :) they said Squats had gone but they are in BFG :p

Cool enough article. Little big for a spaven though. Using old Squat bodies give something that suits their dimunitive nature. Doubt they would have such nice looking powered armour either. I think of Squat Exo-armour.

Plus in the warhammer background I remember, skaven came from rats that ate Warpstone. May have changed in newer editions though.
