Well, all the pics are taken with a scanner, as you've probably realized by now. I have to admit that I get quite nice photos with it With minimal effort! Anyway, the scanner I have is a HP Deskscan 6350c . I believe it is a high-end scanner, as it was the most expensive one they had in the store where I bought it... Anyway, I actually painted, and made this article for a friend, who was going to start with DE, but he thought they were a bit lame, so he started with SM's in WH40k instead, very well... I luuv the DE minis. If you have seen my img with the Dead Black templar, it was to bug him...
Fantastic article. I've got some DE's sitting right here and I'm just gonna print this out and take it to the painting table with me and start working on 'em now.
The miniature is great, but, for me, the base is at very low level... For a rank model use sintetic grass, or use something else for static's, like enamel matt varnish, drop by drop, and you'll obtain a very better result.
This is great. My brother has just started to collect dark elves, and wants me to help him paint them. I wanted to know how to do the flesh, having never painted elves before, and this has been a terrific help for figuring things out for me.
