Article: How to Paint Bruises

Great article! never considered that combatants could be covered with bruises, but they should be - not all of them are like Bruce Willis or Schwarzeneger.

Liz, you should expand this for different wounds and bruises, like good ol' purple shiners etc

cool article, the bruise looks great. Not sure the hand the top of the hand can actually bruise like that, but who cares :p

@ frenchkid- you're right, the hand wouldn't bruise like that but it was the only mini I had in my box that I wasn't too embarrased by to use as an example and I didn't want to mess up his face.

@DaN- Actaully, I plan to work on refining it but I have to look at some pretty disgusting pictures to come up with this and it's not easy going so I'm going to add a bit later. I also plan on doing one on various ages of scar tissue as well.

Awsome article Liz...I'm going to use this on one of my GD entries this year...be sure to look for it! On another note, the part with the very red bruse really looked like a sore like he had the plague or something. Really cool effect.

Pretty neat-o stuff. don't know what i'll use it for, but i do plan on using it in the future. I wonder how that'd work on orks.....

Thats a damned good idea! Never , ever thought of doing bruises but I will now. Im thinking servitors and other bio mechanicals. Thank you for sharing.
