Interesting subject, nicely presented. I normally choose colour schemes simply based on whatever "feels right" to me, so it is interesting to see an actual "formula" for what is actually one of the hardest part of painting a miniature - deciding what colours to use. I also really enjoy the style of your writing, with its subtle touches of humour.

I've always gone with the axiom... if it feels right .. DO IT.... color selection depends rather heavily on a persons tastes.... and well some tastes are just bad... I guess this helps guys out to fgure out which colors goes with what....
