Article: Kingdom Death Wet Nurse - Sold out in under 24 hours

Blind Ghouls, a walking Tentacle and a "color out of space". Sure death-dealing bubbles strike fear into the heart of men. It reads nicely, but looking at the RAFM stuff though most of the Lovecraft monsters are looking amazingly sucky and much less inspired in the flesh. The most horrifiying thing about them is the somewhat mediocre sculpting (and I am saying that as a great fan of Lovecrafts original works).

This is my point exactly- the concept of the wet nurse is fine, but the execution is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

I bet they wish they had made more, selling out in 24 hours is a disaster by the planning department.
With all the interest good and bad in this, I expect a 2nd release?

I can see the desire to create a truly "Gigeresque" creature, but such a goal can be very challenging for an artist to pull off. The limitations of the medium make it difficult for a miniature to inspire horror.
