Got my packet from Rev this morning. Bizarrely enough it contained the exact same mini that prompted me to sign up for mini exchange in the first place!

3) a multi part mini that looks like a biatch to put together!

Apparently the thing at the top is a \"Xiticix\" from the game RIFTS whatever that is. I saw it in mini exchange 11 and thought it looked so wierd that I really wanted one just to put it together and see what the hell it looked like. I reasoned that if people were sending stuff that unusual then I wanted a part of mini exchange. Even wierder, before rev sent it to me, he got it from Treide who in turn got it in a mini exchange from someone going by the name of Jahecker. It\'s been all round the world but now it\'s stuck in Scummy Coventry and it ain\'t going any further lol

Some kind of riot control Dwarf from Privateer Press (the first PP mini I have owned) a very old looking doggie, a Reaper Vale archer sculpted by Werner Klockemon and the bug boy.

Well I am glad that Xiticix found a home with you! Jahecker sent me a set of two of those, so I can confirm that the assembly is a bitch! I have yet to attempt painting mine, but will be very interested to see what you do with yours. IIRC, it has 4 arms, and I had a difficult time getting the lower arm to look \"natural\" when I pinned everything together. Good luck!

Yeah the lower right one didnt want to fit at all. I ended up taking most of the shoulder off before the upper one would fit over the top. Other than that it went together reasonably well.

confirmed package from beowulfthehunter. Three pretty interesting pieces. I think I\'ll wait for pics until I can get started on them. It\'s not stuff I would typically buy for myself since I only ever buy stuff relating to our D&D game, but the wheels are already turning as to what to do with them.

Nurglings can appear in both fantasy and 40k. For fantasy it\'s be a 40mm square, and 40k, 40mm round.

Oddly enough... I\'ve seen the Ral Partha undead Egyptians before! I think my brother received that set as a gift once, and I know the remains of one of the figures is in my bitz box somewhere... The space trooper guys look like Alternative Armies or something (?)

Don\'t. Everybody sends what he wants to send, two unharmed (i.e. newish) miniatures is the minimum, send something you don\'t really want anymore, and of which you think your receiver might like it. If you\'ve done something like that, there\'s nothing to be embarrassed about. Some people send out shiploads others send just a few. As long as people don\'t start to _expect_ too much and don\'t send out two plastic chewed on stripped warhammer fantasy Brettonian bowmen from a few starter sets ago, found in the bargain bin of their local store, it will all remain a friendly gesture and way to exchange some (unwanted, yet appreciable) miniatures around the world.
Anyway, welcome to the ME-pool, and hope everybody has a nice exchange.

My intention was always to do just that, but I got so many minis fomr the last few exchanges I never got around to it.

That \'Egyptian\' undead chariot thingie is from RAFM. I must sheepishly admit that everyone I\'ve done an ME with so far has received one as I had something like 10 of them. I\'m down to my last two now however so I\'m thinking NSA got the last one I\'m sending out. :drunk:

I\'m honoured... I think It\'s a fun model but I\'m seriously tempted to use the cool undead horses for something else.

Well without taking pictures I guess I\'ll just say what I got from beowulfthehunter.

1 of the Ram Python Minis from SIMTAC currently produced by there is a picture of it Here on the kryomec site.

1 of the female APAC ninjas that came in the ninja box set from Abberant games. No base so it will be my first attempt at coming up with a decent base for a mini.

Last was the body and arms from Cretus a minotaur mini from reaper and one of the weapons and head from Turuk Stronghull a pirate minotaur from reaper.
