Which begs the question of pre-painted minis like the D&D creations that are bought with horrendous paint jobs. I don\'t think we\'ve had this question yet, so what does everyone think? Who gets to strip the poor little beggers of their coats?

@moderrhu - The prepainted D&D miniatures are plastic, right? I have no idea how to strip paint safely off plastic minis, so I personally wouldn\'t be too keen on those.

I don\'t know. Never seen them, just heard about them being pre-painted.

@Thecadian: Just \'around\' the time? What\'s important is that within a week of the draw you can talk to your exchange partners. Leave it for now, and see about it later.

I would love to take part in something like this sounds fun.

I Understand the need for rule 5, but so i can take part and join in with the event could I send my minis first, and when the other person gets my minis that i sent he could then send them to me, just to show good faith ? If not sign me up for the next event after i have been here a bit longer.

Is there a special way to search for minis posted from previous Exchanges? I typed in \"Miniature Exchange\" in the \"Search Description\" field, but only got 6 hits. There have to be more than that!

@treide: Some people will post pics of the exchange minis in these exchange threads. So search for the exchange threads too, they might reveal some not found while looking through the galleries.

@chrismisterx: Your suggestion is appreciated, and I like it. Just remember that a package can take anywhere from 1 week to 5 weeks to make its way to its destination. If you\'re willing to wait that long before your your sender sends minis to you... I see nothing wrong with it. And the rules might well see a modification if this works out well. Let me know, will you?

@lannister and battlemaster: Yeah, rule 5 is an issue. However, if you\'re ok with chrismisterx\'s suggestion, you\'re both in. Just let me know.
