my minis came on monday, some fantastic stuff! i got a cronopia mini, a blister of swat guys from cry mek (should be fun) and a pack of confrontation orc crossbowmen -perfect for my growing warband, the real treat was the custom cast bases that desertdragon sent me. they included a modern/future battlefield, a stone pilith, and best of all, a huge piece of forest terrain, complete with snags, rocks, and flora. after making my old one display base, i think i have what it takes to make it one beautiful piece of forest to frustrate my opponents. i cant wait to get started!

edit: lol, sorry \'bout that, i was hoping it wouldnt happen, but i was slow to the draw. im not a huge fan of most of the range either, but they do have a few gems in there, and the priestess is one of my favorites. i try to send out minis that are a little unique, rare, or new, so people can post some stuff that almost no one has.

p.s. if you like the priestess, take a look at the embalmed.

Mini\'s

Hi All
I just wanted to let everyone know that today I did get my minis from Onis Lair and that I LOVE them!!! I could not believe it when I opened the heavy package and found nine metal, wicked looking mini\'s!!! They are all sooo cool Im not sure what one I will paint first but once I decide and get my camera back I will post some pics to share with you all. I would also like to personally thank Onis Lair for all these great miniatures and for making my first exchange one I will never forget!!!

Thanks Again: Meridian

Here\'s what I\'m planning on doing with the Keratis Warrior that Arma sent:

It\'s hard to make out from the photos, but the concept is that the Keratis Warrior guy (here-to-for known as cool samurai guy) will be standing defensively facing off against a big bad lava wyrm bursting out of a lava pit. It\'s hard to make out, but the surface of the lower level is like a dried lake bed, which will be black top tiles, with the cracks a fiery lava glow. I\'m also going to be trying to do object source lighting (lava wyrm = light source) and maybe even NMM.

I\'m going to enjoy painting it. And I\'ll post WIP pics in a separate WIP thread I\'m going to start.

Thanks again Arma!

Steelcult hit my love of female minis perfectly. I went out to my mail box on saturday before I met my gaming group and waiting for me was 3 kick ass figs.
A pissed off evil elf chick from Heartbreaker, a sexy female necromancer from Reaper and that huge 72mm Sophie...I have the nede version in the mail I ordered so i hace a test figure now to work on. Wow, thanks lloyd.

I received my minis from Jahecker yesterday. Very interesting, and certainly different from any I have ever seen or currently own. They are two RAFM blisters, one labelled \"Simvan & Mount\" with an alien riding a velociraptor-like creature, and the other labelled \"Xiticix, Black Faerie\" containing 3 creepy insectoid creatures. All require a fair amount of assembly, so once I get them put together, I will post a pic.

Thanks for the cool minis, jahecker!

I\'m wondering when that GW orc is from... it IS GW right? I don\'t think I\'ve seen one like it before. The Scibor resin figure is a nice addition. Thanks!

I will have to pay this forward next time, so whoever I end up sending to then... I\'m already shopping for you :D

Yup, he is an old Ork in Mega armour, and all 3 variants had bad moon icons sculpted on them to represent that the bad moons are the richest of ork clans and therefore able to afford mega armour.

I didn\'t like these personally, as I had a goff clan and converting wasn\'t commonly done in them days!

I got my mini\'s from demonherald yesterday, and man, what a haul.

A Troll from WFB, A skarrd from Dark Age. A Heresy orc? fantasy football player (Who I have some plans for)

And the crowning part, A mini that I keep on looking at and have never bought - Eldrad Ulthran.

Thanks.
