Hmmmmmmm that does bring nice images to the mind. How can I paint after knowing that.

I got my minis from No Such Agency yesterday, but was on the road and got home today to find them waiting for me. Got 5 total....

I came home for lunch, and found my goodies waiting for me!
A Warmachine Vanguard Light Warjack, very cool (and one I needed to get, still, so doubly cool), and an assortment of resin bases and accessories, and a drill to help me mount things on them.
I\'ll take a picture after work, this evening to post. Have to get food, right now, or I\'ll have taken a lunch break for nothing.
Many thanks. And be prepared to sell me a bunch more of these bases. They look awesome!

I want more round bases. More! MORE, I say! Especially those round ones. Small. Large. DD, do you have a middle size of them, too?
The square ones, too. But more the round ones. But I digress.
The Vanguard will be seeing paint as soon as I finish the two projects I\'m in the middle of.
My dragon has been shunted off to the sidelines, for the present. This probably doesn\'t surprise any painter here. Heh.

An anatomically correct demon or devil (don\'t know the manufacturer), a Rackham swordsman, a GW goblin with spear, two very cool Disney figurines, and what looks like a treestump terrain piece.
I think I will be painting the demon/devil - lots of opportunity to work on shading/highlighting skin. I\'ll post in the Mini Exchange WIP as I go.

Ha, that just gave me a flashback. I remember painting this Satyr mini way back when I was in my early teens. It was anitomically correct, and I just couldn\'t bring myself to paint it. Before even priming the mini I did was what probably my first conversion, a bit of x-acto work and we I now had a eunuch Satry I was much more comfortable painting.

I have some resin bases lying around, and I\'m pretty sure I can scare up some round ones.
Fun stuff. I\'m pretty sure the goblin mechanic is going to be the first one I have a go at painting.
Are you kidding - the local flavour is great! My jaw dropped when i saw the Jedi Mickey.
Do you know who makes that demon? I want to label him appropriately when I eventually post him in the gallery. The base reminded me of a Reaper base, but I haven\'t ever seen him in their line.

Finally got Scottl\'s package into the mail before work today! Sorry for the delay, I think you\'ll consider it worth the wait. You should get it in 4-7 business days. I\'ll PM you the same info, in case you don\'t see this.
Got my package from Johnboyjjb the other day. Quite a score, really an excellent group of figures, pics should follow, but incase they don\'t, I received:
-2 familiar looking metal race cars, about 10mm long, can\'t figure out where they\'re from but I\'m sure I can put them to use!
-1 very creepy rug with a demon face and tail comming up off the base to bite something
-1 girl figure in a dynamic sword pose, another I\'ve no idea where it\'s from, has an MBD stamp on the bottom of the base?
-1 Werner Klocke \"Harry Potter\" looking figure with a display type base, with extra bitz, book, satchel and a broom, coolest model ever almost (I think I\'ll paint it up like Harry Potter and give it to my son, he should like that)
-4 Dark Elf Crossbowmen (GW)
-1 DE Trooper with a sword and hand gun or crossbow that has a stack of bolts in an ammo feed sort of thing on top (GW 2001)
-1 DE Corsair (GW 1999)
-1 High Elf Spearman (GW) which I\'m currently converting into a banner bearer, the spear got bent in shipping so I had to replace the shaft and got carried away while I was waiting for calls at work yesterday
-3 Empire Spearmen (GW)
-1 Acolyte (GW 2003) some crazy looking pyro, think flagellant with flame throwers for arms and a flaming brazier on his shoulders, should be great fun to paint
-1 Dwarf Longbeard (GW 1999) just need to make him a shield, looks like he needs one, the designing wheel is working overtime in my head
-1 balsa wood airplane, another item my son will love, I\'m certain, I wonder how far it would go if he threw it off the balcony of our 15th floor apartment? Might be irresponsible to find out, hmmm...
- think that\'s about all...oh...3 green army men! Haha, almost forgot about those.
I don\'t know what I\'m most excited about...so many great older figures. Enough elves to start a warband I think...oooo...there\'s an idea. Damn, now I wont be able to sleep tonight, I\'m getting all excited and creative. I remember back around the 2nd or 3rd mini exchange, one of the girls said something about how getting the package is like a little christmas day when it arrives and how excited she gets, etc. I thought pushaw, she must be crazy...but then a few exchanges later and I\'m exactly the same. Not sure if I\'m normal or if I should go adopt 16-23 cats?
