Pretty easy and they look good. The one thing I would suggest is to glom some plaster or paste on the outside to hide the texture of the paper towel.

nice simple and straigth forward, some kind of straw looking basing materiel might really up the realism.

OH GOD! THEY LOOK LIKE BROWNIES! SO HUNGRY! I Agree with NSA, glob some plaster of paris on over it. You can also do this and make these look like rock mounds if your skilled enough with plaster.
