Though most manufacturers have lately been going for either very realistic representations of humans, or for exaggerated “ideals” of humans, Wyrd is going a different direction with what I like to call storybook illustrations. They have the just slightly off-kilter look of illustrations of children’s books. Slight camp, but not in a pulp figure way. It might be tough getting an initial audience, but I hope they make it.

thats why i like them. not that keen on their women (i\'m not mad on many female sculpts) but the others are dangerously nice

Saemus is wearing a frill shirt with long flappy sleeves. The left hand is hidden under the cuff. The right arm that is raised has the cuff going the other way... down his arm.

The paintjobs, or at least those that are finished, will be displayed when the miniatures are released!

It might be in order to point out that Leveticus and Misaki are sculpted by Edgar Ramos and Saemus - The Mad Hatter is sculpted by Steve Buddle after a concept by Stéphane Enjolras.

No absolute deadlines, as Frustrated Father as learned, but in the next 2-3 weeks, they should be available.
