Great article, I'm printing it out on the color printer right now and adding it to my reference binder.
Great job. Only comment would be that it would be nice to see some pics of the techniques executed on some minis, but a short search through CMON provides those ;-)>

really nice article. random fact, Amethyst changes colour under certain conditions and it can become yellow....
