I'll have to give this an attempt. I have been using so many bright lights (and they are bulbs) that I get strong reflections which makes some of my figures look like I have used glossy paint. Thanks.

Absolutly brilliant. Thanks for the article. I've been using two lights but I have one of the lights you use. I'm going to try your method and runn from there. Many thanks on the brief tips about Photoshop. I didn't use the Levels (d'oh) and I've read the user guide (D'oh,D'oh).

Hi there.

I know this article has been up for a while but I thought I should add a comment to say how much I appreciate it. It was very clearly written and useful. It gave me the confidence to post the first few pictures of my own - my pics still aren't great but this article gave me a good basis to experiment from.
