Great Article, Chrispy! This helps me a lot. I need to paint my Rackham Vargas Metatron (The one with the HUGE axe!), and this article will help a lot! Thanks!

I love this article. The progression of equally beautiful and complex pictures brings the concept and article to life. Also comprehensive instructions make the imagination dance with new possibilities. Looking forward to more on this topic. Thank you!

Hmm i like it because its sweet and to the point so simpletons like me don't get confused, I've tried it to make my grey knights look really shiny and hot darn do they look shiny! Nice article man!

Very good article, Chrispy. I think it mentions a lot of things that all too often are forgotten when attempting SENMM.

Although it's NMM and SENMM are still a long walk from my own brushes, this clears up several questions I had, thanks Chrispy :)

"This is not a flat surface..."
Yep I say that a lot as I paint.
That and f****n ell, b*st**d paint!
I'm impressed anyone would think to try this on individual bands on a figure's armour.
Definitely not a technique I'll be rushing to try on my next batch of 20 figures though.

Well deserving of a 10 - easy to follow, great pics. My favourite was the filigree example... went from looking like the way pretty much everyone (me too) seems to paint it to looking like it popped out of the screen. I'll be rereading this for sure!

I love it. I only have one question: How did you do the thundercats logo with and what program did you use? It would be nice to create a model of what you are going to paint.

Great detail! I'll be keeping this one next to my minis. ^_^ But seriously, I think this might have been great if there were some more actual mini examples.

Keep 'em coming!
