Excellent article, although I found that I got better lighting and less harsh shadows from my scans by simply draping a white towel across the mini.

Very nice article. I use a plan piece of white paper over my mini when I scan. I am going to try a white box like you suggest to see if I get better results. Thanks for the helpful info.
