(trying to emulate that noise those dolphins make when they talk)

I think it loosely translates into, \"damn, that sculpt looks good. prepare to be assimilated.

dolphin wasn\'t too bad. Dino is still being worked on. I will start major work on Borys after dolphin is done...but i need Jeff to send me the base for it when he\'s done.

@sanjay - looking good there. how you gonna paint it? airbrush or normal?

GAH!

I would never use an airbrush...i believe i won\'t learn the skills i need to learn if I use an airbrush and seeing what some painters can do, anything with an airbrush, CAN Be done via areal brush if you take the time.

ALso I don\'t have one :)

Definitely the cone shaped. There is also one with a flat and round face thats usefull dut the pointed cones cover everything.
I have a large soft one and a small hard one.

:D

Thank you all :D

Primed it last night and put a basecoat of grey.

Gonna do the back portion darker and try and make blend to the lighter underbelly transition as smooth as possible although when i tried last night, the dark paint spread all over to the bottom so had wipe it all off :( hehe Will start to post stuff regarding the dolphin in the regular WIP thread as of tomorrow since sculpting is over and now to painting :) then Borys work will go here :) heheh

Engine also is closer to done. Gotta make \'ropes\' with thin wires by coiling them, dipping in glue/water mix, let them dry. Prime and paint with shades of brown and a hilight or 2 of some other colour. the armour plates on the dino will really be held by these \'ropes\'. They are not glued down...this makes it look more authentic in my opinion.

well...

I\'ve done some more work today. Primed rest of base. Painted it (base coat). Gonna do some drybrushes to finish of the stone work, then some washes to dirty it up a bit and such. However, gotta look at what type of aquarium plants i got to hide some of the errors and to add to make it look like a swamp.

then I will complete all the ropes for the armour. I\'ve done 2 of them already..need about 10 or 12 more.

I will try to finish the entire dino and base (other than the water), this weekend.

This is my (stalled) first proper go at a sculpt from an idea I have for some sort of circus freakshow. Haven\'t done anything to him for a while.

The body is Fimo, but I need to skin it with green. It\'s going to be wearing a PVC jumpsuit.....

Yer I think I took my kids to see that movie a long time ago. looks good so far. Maybe you should talk to Scibor and find out how he time manages his sculpting and painting.

Yeah, his ears are meat cleavers. Tail is a fish hook. He needs his PVC jumpsuit and lots of straps adding. Then his respirator needs fixing.

Your one sick mo\' fo\'

Get it finished NOW

Seriously I love the idea behind that.
What would be a great idea is to have a little fun with it and let us have a go at doing a member of your \"freak show\".
Sounds right up my alley.
