So, how do you get the trees to look green without the white of the wool underneath? I don't know of any fibrous material that's not white. Dye the material first maybe? And what kind of bush/tree gave you those branches?
Very nice article, the trees look very realistic. I too was wondering what type of original branches you were using to get that great structure and character?
Too many pics of completed works and not much of actual steps. Overall the effect IS realistic and looks great. I would love to see a patch of forest done in the same manner. Thanks for your terrain contribution!
not sure but maby if you use a root of a shrub or a piece of those (thorny) shrubs your local community has in it's gardens that could work. Would like to see a how to photo during the wool phase. Have been wondering for ages how to attach those bags of foilage to my trees without looking absolutely horrible
