artist looking for work

Hey guys,

I\'m trying to break into a few different areas of art right now. I\'m going to school for painting and drawing at the moment. But I still need some work. If there\'s anyone out there who may need an illustrator and would be willing to give a new artist a try I\'d appreciate the opportunity.

Or if you know of any websites/message boards I should become a part of I would appreciate the suggestion.

I\'m going to try and get some scans of some of my work by the end of the week and post it.

heres a list of some of the larger artist forums.. Id suggest setting up a portfolio on conceptart.ord and deviant art.

If you sign up and post be ready for critism of your work as you will get it..but it is a good place to learn from some of the best illustrators.

Keep in mind in a world where there is a few thousand miniature painters..there\'s 10,000\'s of starving illustrators looking for work..

I\'ve actually thought about asking on here, so I\'ll keep you in mind when I finally get around to it. The work would be main window artwork, sprites and misc stuff for iPhone toddler games.

Sticking point right now is learning the programming language and actually getting it to do what I want it to do! :cussing:
