Get a mini you dont care about and simply experiment. Seems every new paint/ink/pigment/brand has it\'s own pecularities.

I have quite a few of these.

The first thing to say is dilute them MUCh more than 1:1 ! 5-10:1 at least, if not more! These colours are very intensive.

The other thing to look at is that some of the inks are transparents, and others are opaques. The opaques work very differently to what you may expect.

I mix my inks and paints together to get the colour or effect I want very often. Test the effects

BTW - FW white is your friend, buy it if you don\'t have it already :D

You can generally buy them in art shops, they are also easily available online. If I remmember they are about 3.30 a bottle, but each bottle is 29.5ml, so they last forever.

As for what they are - literally what they say on the bottle, inks for calligraphy and pen and ink work - good for people who like working with intense colours

Recently bought a few

I bought several to try out about 3 months ago. As a result of my initial tests, I went out and bought another handful. Best inks on the market from my experience.
