Assault order (TG) vs Combat prowess (NW)

Dear
I played a card ASSAULT ORDERS, took the "maneuver" zone, changed it to "swords" and played it on Drogo's unit to strike (not charge)
The opponent played a card COMBAT PROWESS( SER Denys Mallister NW)and claims that he can cancel my card.
My objection is related to the fact that my card activates the zone on the unit and is not directly played on the unit.
How do I know who is right?

I believe you are correct and your opponent wrong. Combat Prowess works when an enemy is targeted by an Ability or Tactics card. Drogo's unit was technically being targeted by a Tactics Zone not an Ability or Tactics card.
