ASTERIX roman fort

Hi all,
This simple diorama:

is my last work and represents a part of a “roman fort” inspired by the renowned french comic “Asterix”:
the miniatures are OOP Metal Magic miniatures.
I really have a lot of Metal Magic Asterix miniatures…so if you want to buy, sell or exchange this kind of miniatures contact me at lucamasetti@aliceposta.it

The fort is scratchbuilt, mainly with wood; barrels are naval accessories and the ladder is from GW.
I,m going to make many others dioramas and vignettes with Asterix miniatures, so this is only the first!

Awesome, I\'m so glad to hear this! I\'m a big fan of Asterix and this is the epitome of a cool mini to me. I\'ve not seen these minis before, they are great, totally in character with Uderzo\'s art. I\'d like some, but I can\'t really justify getting more models as I already have thousands to paint. The fort you\'ve made is a groovy setting too.

It\'s not the best painted thing I\'ve seen here for sure, but it gets a rare 10 from me for being the coolest thing I\'ve seen here in absolutely ages. Nice one!

Have to agree though, this is totally cool, and you did a good job of capturing the comic book feeling with the colors and the setting is pretty good too.

Not only are you the only other member I\'ve seen using Snoopy as an avatar thingie, your also the only one I\'ve noticed who has some of these great Asterix minis. I\'ll post a pic of the box I found in my basement again just cause it makes some people drool.

Oh yeah, and I gave it a 9, I\'m really stingy with my 10s. This is a really great piece.

Now I have the whole collection but Cleopatra...lol

As always a perfect scene! I think Luca is one of the greatest dioramist in the world... you perfectly realized the mood of asterix and this scene simply rocks!
