Asterix

Lucky me, I was cleaning up my hobby area (read as basement) when I happened across a box set of miniatures from 1988 by Hobby Products (some German Company) containint 18 finely detailed Asterix miniatures in 25mm scale.

I envision many hours of enjoyable painting with these little fellows. Do any of you know of some links to good pictures of Asterix and his pals? Most of the gauls are represented as well as a decent number of Romans.

There are the figures pictured on the back plus 8 Romans in the box (may have been two boxes combined into one after I purchased them?).

Wow, you are lucky to have those. I\'ves een similar ones advertised but only for Eurpoean sale. As for pics, go out and buy a couple of the books, they\'re well worth it and probably available at any ChIndigo.

Funny, I just came across this link yesterday.

Asterix orks! Also, Simpson and Smurfs. Wacky fun. Can\'t read German, so I dunno what it\'s going on about.

Well, actually that\'s quite true. :drunk:

But I figured it couldn\'t hurt to ask, maybe someone had some great secret Asterix picture link.

I also found some old Armorcast stuff including a bunch of primitive looking tents (think Orky). A second Aztech Airbrush and dremmel tool. Several parts cabinet drawars full of old RP, RAFM, Black Tree, and Grenadier minis. A bag full of art brushes (inappropriate for mini painting but 50+ brushes none the less). A box full of about 20 assorted Prince August molds for making your own minis (really poor sculpts but fun just the same). And much more...
