The Ral Partha Red Dragon arrived Wednesday and what a lot of metal that Baby is.
Postman needs a truss, We have a dent in the hall floor and I need to get a steel reinforced Display cabinet for it.

Hey DR thats a fantastic Kit, I painted the one thats on the back of the box.

A few words of advice in assembly. I know there was a slight miss allignment with one of the front arms not ligning up properly with the base..may either require a small amount of bending or better yet get a dremmel and grind the hold out and use some putty to fill ay gaps.

As for the wings, attach with the largest pin you can possibly drill and put in. I think I sunk 1/8 inch brass rods an inch in each direction.

When I painted it I mounted the thing to a wooden block and mounted it in a swivle Pana Vise..trying to hold that thing by hand will destroy your wrist in no time.

Have fun with him and I look forward to pictures.

Thanks for the advise Jeff, I believe that the Airbrush will be getting a large amount of practise before going near this particular piece. But seeing as I\'ve Four Forgeworld Titans to repair (GW Staffer relocating Self and box of Titans from top to bottom of Stairs at extreme speed) the Airbrush might be getting some serious use.

And this brings my total number of Dragons to 27.
So the last \"Holy Grail\" for me would be the TSR RED Vinyl Dragon brought out in the late 80\'s early 90\'s.
Beastie was over 19 inches in length and I\'ve only ever seen one in the UK and that was already sold and no more could be obtained.

(That\'s a Hint people.....)

That was a HORRIBLE model..do you want it for the novelty as part of a collection or that you actually want one.

As my dad used to say, you can polish a turd all you want..in the end its still a turd.
