man, you spend 12 hrs a day at work and people get all jumpy. Anyways, since I just barely got home right now and I never had a chance to respond to you:

I have absolutely no envy for anyone who can paint better than me, which is pretty much everyone on this site.

I state flat out right now, I totally suck at painting and I have no problem with that. The only reason I\'m painting minis anyway is because a little paint no matter how bad looks better than lead. and playing a game with purely lead minis pretty much sucks.
First and foremost I am a gamer. The only competition I\'m going to enter my painted minis in is a tournament that I\'m playing in. I\'ll never enter a painting contests, \'cos well, I suck, no worries and I\'m fine with that. I just try and slap a few layers of paint and differant colors so they look somewhat better than when I pulled them out of the blister pack.
If you\'re wondering to yourself now, well, why the hell are you here if you don\'t care how well you paint? Tiff had been on these forums for a while and she\'d call me over and I\'d read posts from over her shoulder and laugh and think most of the people here are pretty cool, so I decided to make an account for myself instead of just always looking over her shoulder.

Otherwise, anybody can be here. There\'s no qualifying traits.

I think this needed to be said. This is what I meant when I said Tony needs to chill with his attitude. He\'s full of smart comments. If he takes the time to look around, he should notice he is the only one acting the way he is.I try to think that his actions just go with his age. No offense, but I\'m guessing 13 or 14.

now for whoever\'s sake can we please all get along! these forums have been beset with bitching recently. harsh stuff has been said and grudges beared. lets all just quit it. man even all the time outs have got us all too stressed.:eek:

@tony : i understand what you post , just sometimes it cam come acress as arrogant or even pompous.

@at the rest of us: a lot of misunderstanding is going on. let\'s bridge the divide and start enjoying painting and critiquing minis again. hell this is our hobby.........lets not take it too far!

You do know that we were all genetically altered at birth to like miniatures and to be drawn to internet mini painting sites to discuss them. What you dont know is that we are being watched by people in the sky and we are just guinnea pigs being mentally experimentet on.
Every now and then they drop a cog in the works to fire us up.
