Average waiting times for images to upload

Hi guys,

Am I being thick or do some images take longer to upload than others?

I\'ve uploaded a new image to my gallery and its been waiting for nearly 4 hours now but other images have been active within 2 minutes or so. Anyone else get this?

basically, they upload when a moderator moderates them. if you are lucky you can catch them when they are doing a batch and get it done quick. however, if you submit 2 secs after they leave their computer, you could have a wait on your hands. bear in mind that despite evidence to the contrary, the mods do have lives. or so i am told..

It sounds like you\'re referring to the delay between upload and posting, which freak in a cage explained. Although, most larger images will take more time to upload than smaller images, overall upload time itself depends on the speed of your connection.

As long as they\'re still posting I wouldn\'t worry about it.
