Awaken Realms Vampire Counts Army showcase

Recently we had the pleasure of painting the Vampire Counts army, full of beautiful and characterful Vampire models, in a dark, ethereally green paintjob - really fitting the dark nature of undead.

Take a look at the pale-skinned ghouls and their bigger cousins that crawled from their caves, still covered in dirt. There is also the Mortis Engine pulled by the ethereal host of spirits.

Finally, pay attention to the banner of Blood Knights with the army icon!

What do you think about the color scheme?

Also, it's also first test of the new background - how are the results?

Before I comment on the VC army, I think it's worth mentioning that you are posting these in the wrong place. The Painting & Conversions thread is meant for general questions or help with painting or sculpting issues. Perhaps these would fit better in the "Discuss Submissions" thread? That is a good place for feedback on finished projects.

The color scheme is great. I love the weathering as well. It all fits quite fine. How long does it take for you to paint such a massive Army? How many people are involved? Kudos for such a grand project!

It's about a week up to two if we focus on one project when we have all the miniatures. If we're painting in batches or painting other commissions simultaneously, it's of course a longer time:)

For one project (depending on a scale) two to five/six persons are dedicated to.
