Its in the bargain range now and is worth every penny/dime.

Primeval!! You have GOT to be joking!!
I have the same distaste for things of that nature.... However Enclave\'s universe was the first to pull it off competently. You will not see any guns or anything like that. There are some levels that employ a kind of crude technology ( cogs and gears..... no electricity ) but I think there are only like three of those in the whole damn game.
Seriously man just give it another shot you did not even glance at the surface of the game. that was in the very beginning of the second level!! Hands down Enclave is the single best Fantasy action game out there. Passing it up is a crime to fantasy gaming.
It is VERY challenging later in the game, so if you do give it another shot be prepared for some serious whoop arse.

That one is definatley worth a reinstall and another go.....
Other than the frustrating point of view (at times) it was definately worth playing.
Enclave looked very promising, but I never got around to playing that one. I\'ll bet I can pick it up in a bargain bin someplace cheap!!!

I wish I was joking, but I just can\'t take that stuff. The cogs and gears are fine, but.....
I am enjoying Severance: Blades of Darkness though. And the Conan game should be out in the next few months from what I hear. But if I find myself with downtime, I promise to try Enclave again and to try and just ignore the cannons (perhaps I thought there would be more to come - I remember in a game called Dungeon Seige there was a whole level of goblins with technology, but someone said it wasnt too bad - boy was I PISSED when a stupid little goblin came at me with a FRICKIN\" FLAME THROWER!!!!!)
Lately I try to stay away from computer games unless it is something I just have to play (like Conan) - otherwise it cuts into the little time I get for painting these days.

Yeah I can\'t stand that kind of thing either Primeval. So take it from me when I say that Enclave will not annoy you with genre bending. I was actually surprized by how little I noticed the odd inclusion of primitive technology used in the game. It is there to be sure, but it is sparse and never detracts from the \" Mideval Fantasy \" feel of the game.
