Just got pointed to this on another group, it is on sale on EBay item No 260024957410

You can do your own search for it, apparently made by Armourcasy before GW interfered with them :D

I like it but I have a feeling it is going to go for a lot of bucks judging by the buy iy now price it wouldn\'t surprise me if there is a reserve as well.

Wow, that\'s cool. I was aware of the stuff Armorcast made for GW, but I\'ve never seen one of these before

Until I saw this I thought Armourcast only ever did the titans.

I am not a big fan of Chaos but I have to admit I do like this.

They also did a couple of other bits too like the Cannon of Khorne, Brass scorpion and some cauldron thingy. But yep, large scale warhammer models from Armoracst is a new one on me

I see he has added a note now saying that he has been informed that it wasn\'t actually done by Armourcast.

I am surprised it hasn\'t gone up in price a bit more than it has though???

Even not by Armourcast it is still a very nice model.

Nice big Chaos warrior. What on it would be copy righted tho. Micheal Morcock came up with the 8 pointed star for Chaos long before GW started using it.

Did he now? I had heard that the eight-pointed star was a symbol for Chaos long before GW and Michael Moorcock, and it had something to do with the Greeks.

But Ogrebane, I\'m interested in this Michael Moorcock and what GW got from him, can you link me to some good sites?

He writes alot of SF/Fantasy stuff. Most of it from the 70\'s. He may have got it from somewhere else tho. He use to be the lead singer for Hawkwind and he was chief editor for Tarzan comics back in the long ago.

Dont have a web site for him tho.

Hell, I\'m a CHARTER member!

We could all go in together and buy it. It could stay a week with War Griffon, A week With EB, a week with Ainu, and then I could just keep it the rest of the weeks.

Any takers?
