Sorry got to dissagree.
Although the guy deserved a twonking, that kick could have killed him or left him paralysed.
A boot in the squidgies, yes. A Chuck Conners to the face, no.
In MMA or Karate you're trained how to fall.I'd have to disagree there DR. This is a standard type of kick you'd see in any MMA event, or karate competition. This kick would kill nobody. I have dished them out like this myself, in training and competition and I have also been on the receiving end. The type of kick where you would need to exercise caution is upon a floored opponent. If you football kick someone in the head, or head stamp them, get prepared to be in the dock for manslaughter.....

Look carefully how he drops, no protection from the impact.
That concusive force against hard surface could be Concussion, Fractured Skull or Spinal injury.
Look in an A&E on a Friday or Saturday night and see how many head trauma's turn up, Last time for me in Blackpool ('95) eight in three hours! All from single punch injuries from UNTRAINED people
I got hit in the face by a rock years ago, took out three teeth, but a recent head scan, shows lots of radial fracture damage in upper palate, cheekbone up to the basal cavity and I wasn't knocked out. The Human Skull isn't as thick as people think.
Actually the lower part (the occiput) at the back is one of the thickest parts(the very front is the thickest). The thinnest is on the sides (parietal and temporal bones). The problem with the occiput is that it protects some very important brain which, if damaged (bear in mind you don't have to break the skull to damage it, mashing it against the skull can cause bleeding) can totally incapacitate and killThat is quite true DR, the fall is more likely to do the damage than the blow itself. The weakest part of the skull is on the underside at the back, so yep a hard fall can be fatal.
Awesome findAnd for something completely different..
