Without doubt my favorite Hasslefree miniature; this amazing sculpt demanded the best I could do. After seeing Tommie Soules brilliant flower knight I wanted to do the best NMM steel I could possibly do and push myself as far as I could go. I decided on a black knight so the steel is a darker midtone than for normal steel nmm. I was going to do the mini a rusty gore splattered armour but i fell in love with the clean crisp metals and couldnt bring myself to sully it with rust and gore. He was going to have to be the kings champion or a legendary fighting ogre with nice spanking shiny armour!
