another great miniature you seem to crank out lots of well painted minis lately so kudos to you!
only thing i dont like is the wolf he looks way to rushed compared to the rest of the mini

Very sweet mini, metals and skintone are cracking! The wolf could have used a glaze or something to \"smoothen\" him out, and I\'m not sure wheter the stuff on the (very good) rock stairs is supposed to be dirt or fur. Love the dead tree, crystals and lil\' wire railing. Voted!

the metal on this one is lookin\' better than your others...
what\'s up with the hands, though...
it looks like the fingers are segmented armour, with claws on the end, but you\'ve painted them as flesh...

i love the eyes on the girl, and her zebra outfit is cool...

Hmmm....but what did you paint it as?? It\'s important when looking at a mini to know what the painter was thinking etc so that we can interpret it and I\'m sorry to say, that I really don\'t like the model/sculpt.

Most of the model looks like it needs shading and highlights; her face is very nicely done, but I\'m not sure if the highlights are painted or as a result of the photo. The metals are too clean and looking at the different photos, its the light from the photos adding most of the shading etc. Add some ink washes to make them nice and \'used\' looking

The wolf is lacking any colour - literally. His mouth should have a slight pinkish hue and his eyes could be brown etc, which would make him look alive and not stuffed (sorry).

The best part is the base and I think if you had put as much effort into painting the models, you would have a lovely little scene there

I know you unfortunately have lots of time on your hands at the moment, but you seem to be turning out a lot of models. Why not slow down a bit and take more time so that the models can have a bit more work on them. We know you can add the detail - as a lot of your earlier works show

Hey Guys,

A lot of people don\'t like this model. I like her--she was fun to paint.

Everything is shaded and highlighted as my previous works. The metals are actually shaded and highlighted as well. The base color was boltgun metal with glazes for pure black for the shadows. Then I hit the highest points on the axe and hammer using mithril silver mixed into the boltgun metal and then the final highlight of just mithril silver. So the highlights and shadows showing in the picture are painted on but accentuated by the light.

Azrin is shaded and highlighted as well. I am trying to get the hang of zenithal lighting and I\'ve been looking at some other artists works. The face and upper body of minis seem to be the focal points while the shadows become darker as you go down the mini. This is what I did with Azrin. That\'s why the face and tops of the arms are lighter.

I didn\'t read the whole thread yet, so I don\'t know if anyone else has commented on the eyes you\'ve been doing lately. Really, really great work. Not just the pupil and iris, either. The whole shape and expressiveness of the eyes on your last few minis is awesome.
