Hello, its been awhile since i did some painting but here we are again. This mini\'s are some Legion of the Damned which I have painted as a commission. The second model is heavily converted which was done by the person thats owns them. He supplied the model to me with wire around the power fists as he wanted this to look like electricity but i suggested the flames instead as it seemed more in theme with the piece, so that meant a bit of sculpting (something I don\'t do much of), so I hope it looks ok. I choose to have a go at a lava base as he wanted the min to stand out, which then led to having a go at some lighting effects.
Anyway here we are.

Looks good, really love the osl you did on the second one. I also really like the greenish skull, overall great work

Not too hot on the flames ;)
(DIDJA see what I did there :p)

But the rest of the chaplain - esp. The OSL is smokin\'! lol

Also, the sergeant is good too, but why give the skull RED eyes and make it glow GREEN?

Overall - 8.5\'s
(The chaplain I\'d given 9 without the flames)

Any voting links?

EDIT: I know it\'s a commission piece that HE converted, but it niggles me that he didn\'t manage to have the both powerfists with the thumbs in the same position, it looks kinda weird. Meh, not your fault :)

tom, it\'s been a while. glad you haven\'t lost your skills! some fantastic stuff there. love the osl. was going to point out a samurai thread to you but you have already replied!!

As already said, I think the flames need something more, maybe they need to engulf the fists more, still great mini, nice base. Like the sergeant too.good job.
