Work sent me to Chennai for a couple of weeks to work with the software developers, so I thought I would share some of the hardships I\'ve had to endure...

Of course, this was me studying a Functional Design document....

And this is where I was....

I suppose it makes up for all the time I\'m in Warrington! Mind you, I\'m flying up to Lanarkshire sunday night for more work - from 33 degrees to I have no idea what temperature up there!

ooo...looks like you had some hardships down there to endure, Shaz. :p

Not that I should complain. I\'ll be in Hawaii to visit the family for the first week or so of May. :D I\'ll send pretty pictures from there too.

You lucky (bleep)! Enduring hardships in India is more desirable than having a good time anywhere else in the world.

When, oh, when will they start ordering church pipe organs from Denmark down there on the subc-continent?.....:(

:D:D

The study of functional design documents can be taxing,I can fully understand the need to do it horizontally........in a hammock.....on a beach :D:cool:

Welcome Back

I had wondered where you went. I took your advice and joined the forums, but then you up and dissappeared. So now I have you to blame for becoming a postaholic and not getting any painting done. :p

lol:bouncy:lol

Actually, I\'ve met some great people and have learned some new techniques, so even though I spend less time painting, what I\'m producing is much better. I\'m going for quality over quantity (time wise), so...

Thank You! :flip:

Finn, never a truer word said. I suppose the fact they are going to send me back in a couple of months may soften the blow a little though...

Thank you, too much of that will make me blush! I\'m glad you are enjoying it here, and getting the most out of it.

I have to say I enjoyed India alot more than I thought it would. It is a beautiful country with some of the most polite and helpful people I have ever met.

It also had its sad points though, like driving past 5 Tsunami camps to get to the beach resort I stayed at for the weekends. Some of those people were living in tents. Could you imagine what it was like in one of those with the sun beating down on you. It made me very aware of how lucky I am really.

Another picture - this is a close up of the largest temple in Chennai - just to show how they do their shading and highlighting :D

India is an amazing place. The people there are the most loving and patient, at the same time exasperating and pushy.

I can understand why the British went to India with rifles....;)

I\'d go back in a second!:D

I never knew India looked like a small white box with a red cross in it :)

Okay, that was my way of saying the pictures don\'t work...
