Trying to start a happier thread that isnt\' so argumentative (as we\'ve had a bunch recently). So I thought it might be nice to list some of our favourite Miniature artists on CMoN. Make the lsit as short or long as you like.

I think if I had to choose one for most inspiration and all-round awesomeness, it\'d have to be Automaton.

And the award for being at one with sculpting tools goes to:
Freeman - His work is awesome and the progress logs he puts on the Spanish Team forum are absolutely fascinating, even in the badly translated form I view them in.

The award for filling work with that special je ne sais quoi:
Alan C - His recent 54mm stuff is well known and totally fantastic, but for me it\'s all about the Orks baby!

The award for most recognisable NMM badassness and fine use of purple goes to:
Alexi Z - Not terribly consistent but when she gets it right (eg. Valten, Haazheel Thorn, Theoden) the results are amazing.

The award for improving so fast it scares the crap out of me:
Banshee - Each new model he puts up makes me wish the maximum ranking went up a little bit too!

The award for making me wish I was a lot younger:
A tie between Bill and Larre - Seeing what these chaps do with so few years under their belts is both inspiring and depressing.

And strangely absent from this ceremony due to removal of their gallery:

First impressions last forever

I\'m (nostalgically) a huge fan of Bobby Wong. I love his cartoon style of painting. Haley is also one of the painters that I\'m hooked on. This list could go on and on but I\'ll just add a few more of my favorites. Arjay is brilliant and Vincenti rocks! I\'ve also become a great fan of automaton\'s work lately. I think he\'s painting as good as any of \'em! Patting all you guys on the back and looking forward to seeing many more beautifully painted minis from you talented d00ds!

I thought that too, then a while back when I mentioned him being a him, I was told he was a she. And now it\'s flipped again! But I have actually bothered to do a Google rather than going on the info of others and it turns out Emanuele is a fella, so sorry for misleading folks and if you are reading, sorry for calling you a girl Emanuele! lol
